White-rumped Swift

On all almost Madmax like film studio landscape, the old mines of  Minas de São Domingos in Baixo Alentejo have some very special visitors from mid May to late Summer, the White-rumped Swifts, Apus caffer.

The  contrasting colors of the acidic lagoon waters,  doesnt invite you to refresh your feet besides the 41ºC shown on the car console.
